Suffolk Science Festival: 15th February to 19th February 2020
Whether you like Science, Maths, Computing and Engineering or not, The Suffolk Science Festival, over four central locations throughout the town of Bury St Edmunds, has much to see and do. The Festival runs each day from Saturday the 15th to Wednesday the 19th February 2020. This year the Theme is Human Biology and how as humans our bodies work and move. There will be a science themed trail around the venues for you to join in and the cards for the trail will be available at each venue – wherever you begin! At the last location you visit, once your Trail card is complete you can leave your card, collect your Learning Credits and enter a draw for some family prizes. Here's the link to What's On.

CPRE Star Count 2020 - 21st to 28th February 2020
From 21-28 February 2020, CPRE, the Countryside Charity, are asking for your help in looking up the heavens. Can you help them by counting stars to map our view of the night sky?

Essex Book Festival - Young Essex: 28th February 2020 to 31st March 2020
Come and discover Brave New Worlds as we journey around our festival hubs. Whether it’s honing your detective skills with dragons or discovering our wonderful past using the Timebubble Machine at our PLACE weekend in Colchester or decorating Harlow Playhouse with your Where I Like to Be bunting, there is fun for all the family across the county this March.
Children's University Learning Stamps will be awarded at each event, according to the time spent at the event.
The Great British Spring Clean 2020: 20th March to 13th April 2020
Together, we can make a massive difference. All our individual actions can help to transform our country for the better, creating cleaner streets, parks and beaches, protecting our wildlife and, ultimately, stopping the tide of plastic that is doing so much damage to our oceans and marine life.
The Great British Spring Clean is about demonstrating that you love where you live - whether that's by pledging to pick while you're walking the dog or on your way to school, hosting a clean-up or joining someone else's clean-up. You will find all the details here:
